How To Access Your iPhone's Built-In Translator

Ensure your iPhone is running at least iOS 14 or a later version.

Unlock your iPhone by entering your passcode or using Face ID or Touch ID.

Locate the "Translate" app icon on your home screen; it resembles a small globe.

Tap the "Translate" app icon to launch the application.

In the app, select the "Translation" tab from the bottom navigation menu.

Use the dropdown arrows to choose the two languages you want to translate between. The blue dot indicates your source language.

Input the text you want to translate by typing it or speaking it aloud.

Once the translation is generated, tap the "Play" button to listen to the spoken version of the phrase. Adjust playback speed as needed.

You can save translated phrases as favorites by tapping the star icon for easy access.

Additionally, you can expand the translation to make it easier for others to read, look up word definitions by tapping the book icon, and more.
